I didn’t think it was possible to fall in love with a website until I stumbled upon Live Now. It’s an ongoing project led by illustrator/graphic designer Eric Smith, who, with the help of many artists, encourages people to live in the now. Inspirational indeed!
Meet Cooper, the cat photographer. Cat owners, Michael and Deirdre Cross (Seattle-based filmmakers) were curious to see where Cooper goes when they let him out of the house, so they used a cat cam – a lightweight digital camera fastened to his collar that was set to take photos every two minutes. It’s pretty amazing to see the world through the eyes of a cat. These are some of my favorites, but you can see more of his snapshots here and he also made it on TV!
The idea: “This is a two-part project, and the first part is simple: We are going to create a gallery of encouragement! You can use this gallery to encourage a close friend or someone you just happened to pass by on the street. You can encourage a relative who may be ill or the girl who handed you your coffee this morning. You could even use this place to encourage yourself!”
